Savvidis' late goal decided the victory over Liptovský Mikuláš

The Spartak team played against the last team of the competition with Ristovski at the top, Procházka and Paur were already on the substitutes' bench. Already in the fourth minute, after a corner kick, they tried the home signal, but Daniel only aimed a volley over the goal. The audience didn't even see the goal in the eleventh minute, when Štefánik found Daniel again in the penalty area, but the winger's second attempt in the net didn't end either. After half an hour of the game, Yusuf was getting to the end, but defended by Totko, he could not finish as he wanted.

Takač had his first job only in the 35th minute, when he playfully caught Kačerík's weak shot from the left side. The opponent played simply and directly, but did not produce anything more in the match.

In the second half, Paur replaced Štefánik and Ristovski sent a shot right next to Liptovský Mikuláš's goal in the opening minute. A minute later, Savvidis tried to threaten the goalkeeper of the visitors after a penetration, but Daniel also failed with a stop. Both were caught by the attentive Gröger.

Daniel also had a hand in Kóš's chance in the 64th minute, but the young stopper shot weakly from inside the box. Subsequently, Ristovski headed near the right post and the goal was still waiting. Bukatu's acrobatic finish in the 71st minute called for a precise strike, but the goalkeeper of the guests went to safety at the last moment.

The pressure of Spartak did not stop, the 82nd minute came, Bukatu's corner kick found the head of Savvidis, who crowned his great performance and finally sent the Angels into the lead - 1:0. The Trnava team finally managed a tough match against a tenacious opponent and after a close win they reached the second place in the table.

Michal Gašparík (Spartak): "From the beginning we wanted to play quickly and in combination, in the end we didn't play quickly in the first half, but hectically. We were held back by unforced losses, the first half was unremarkable. I reassured the guys at halftime that they have to be cool, the second half will be different and the chance will come. We created pressure, goal situations, it's a shame that we didn't get something there. We helped ourselves with a set piece, in the second half we deserved to win with that goal."

Jozef Kostelník (L. Mikuláš): "After the last match with Podbrezová, we concentrated on defense, we knew that Trnava is strong in combination on the home field. We defended well and counter-attacked, we lacked quality in execution and finishing. If we want to be successful, we have to change something, in the second half we didn't have the strength left for counterattacks, we lost, for me, by a cheap goal. It happened for the third time outside. We're going home empty handed.'
