We had to run a lot without the ball, which cost us a lot of energy. We fought for it and we deserved it."

The second insurance goal was scored after the break by Spartak's young stopper, when he ran onto Procházk's cross and headed Kukučka. This is the second league goal in a Spartak jersey for the youngster, who will only celebrate his nineteenth birthday tomorrow. He scored the first goal almost two years ago and, paradoxically, even then it was into the Trenčín net. "I am very happy that I could help the team with a goal and I hope that such good results will continue. The red and blacks not only wanted to get revenge for the loss in Ružomberok, but especially to boost their confidence before the next match, which will be Sunday's derby with Slovan. "Our intention was to tune in to Slovan, jump to second place and attract as many people as possible to the stadium. We know that Slovan plays English weeks, they have enough and I believe that we will prepare well for them and give it to each other on Sunday. It can be a good advertisement for Slovak football," explained Kóš, who booked a place in the stopper pair next to Lukáš Štetin, and even in Trenčín it was clear that his form was improving.

Derby always has its charge and regardless of the position of the teams in the table, it does not have a favorite. Now the first and second in the table will meet again, which will certainly attract a large crowd to the stadium. "It will definitely be a tactical match. We will see how the match will develop, we now have a difficult field, so it can be a fighting and hard-fought match. I believe that we will show the quality to the people who find their way to the stadium and try to win over Slovan. It will be a tough game, but we are playing at home and we will try to do it." believes the coach of Spartak, who knows about Slovan. He beat him in the league, also in the last final of the Slovak Cup.
