MŠK Žilina U19 – FC Spartak Trnava U19 0:0
An unpleasant opponent from Žilina was waiting for the oldest teenagers during the past weekend. None of the teams were happy about the accurate shot, despite the fact that the home team had a penalty kick at their disposal. The juniors did not play their matches and their rematch is scheduled for September 21.
FCST U19: Klimek – Rýzek, Vaško (C), Šoóš, Rusnák, Kurej (80. Kucharík), Slebodník, Repa, Nagy (86. Justh), Kumpan, Masár (62. Bilčík)
Yellow cards: Repa
Peter Gaži: "At the beginning of the match, Klimek held us up with an important save. Subsequently, our chances came, Kurej finished twice after excellent passes from Nagy, who was playing well. In our third best chance, the goalkeeper from Žilina was again more successful. In the second half, we continued to organize the game well and did not let Žilina into anything dangerous. Our attacks remained incomplete, but the situation after Kurej penetrated into the penalty area could have decided the match. Overall, I'm proud of the players for the effort they put into the game. He only regrets the more serious injury of Masár after the liquidation intervention of the home player."
ŠK Slovan Bratislava U15 – FC Spartak Trnava U15 3:1 (1:1)
The derby of the oldest pupils was more successful for our opponent. We were able to respond to the home team's opening goal just before the half-time whistle, but not to accurate shots after the change of sides.
FCST U15: Lukošík – Števík (59. Repáň), Daniel, Pittel (54. Tittel), Noška, Benkovský (C), Tejzr (41. Chnapko), Slezák (54. Sobota), Terenkov, Polťák, Maťo (59. Veteška)
Goals: 39. Terenkov
Yellow cards: Pittel
Tomáš Kánik: "The opponent was more dangerous going forward in the first half, our goalkeeper held us back and kept the score with a difference of only one goal. After an excellent action by our two offensive players with a goal in the locker room, we managed to take advantage of that and go into the second half with a balanced score. The beginning of the half was active from our side and we created several opportunities. Unfortunately for us, the opponent immediately used his first serious attack. Subsequently, after our frivolous loss of the ball in our own penalty area, he punished us again and definitively broke the match for his side. Several players performed average or below average, which could not lead to a better team performance and result against a quality opponent."
ŠK Slovan Bratislava U14 – FC Spartak Trnava U14 0:2 (0:1)
The younger twin's match developed much better. The young Spartans scored one goal in both acts and could enjoy a well-deserved 2-0 triumph.
FCST U14: Slimák – Slovák (63. Bartaloš), Bartovič, Bohunický (63. Fehér), Ušák, Zemko (C), Hečko (36. Kostoláni), Marčiš (52. Studený), Ševčík (56. Magdolen), Furek, Fojta (52. Pospíšil)
Goals: 12. Zemko, 53. Pospíšil
Dávid Miškovič: "The derby with Slovan was completely controlled by us, our defenders covered dangerous players brilliantly and did not let the opponent have a chance. Perhaps I missed more creativity in the pre-final phase. The players deserve praise for their exemplary combativeness and high tempo, the victory is fair."
FC Spartak Trnava U13 – ŠK Slovan Bratislava U13 2:0 (1:0)
With the same result as the students under 14, their teammates who were a year younger also won. Their victory also came after scoring one goal in each half.
FCST U13: Lehocký, Vlkovič – Lenghardt (C), Bošanský, Kalamár, Böhmer, Martinkovič, Koreň, Rakús, Fenič, Ďuriš, Holbík, Zajánoš, Kráľovič, Zlatňanský, Kasan, Hanzel, Svetlík
Goals: 27. Rakús, 58. Kráľovič
Oliver Burian: "Over the weekend, the biggest Slovak derby was waiting for us again after a long time. I'm glad that the guys approached him as it should be for this match. The beginning of the match belonged to Slovan, we had a problem opening the game from the goalkeeper, when the opponent used his well-practiced pressing. As the half-time progressed, we got more and more into the match, we created chances mainly after quick actions and after one of them we took the lead. In the second half, the match picked up a really respectable pace for this age category. We started to win most of the face-to-face battles, which created some promising opportunities. In the match, I missed a greater effort from our side to gradually attack and hold the ball, when most of the time we played all attacks directly to the opponent's goal. The opponent created two chances as well, but the goalkeeper made an excellent catch. Towards the end of the match, the opponent completely opened up and we had several 100% chances after winning the ball, where we did not choose the right solutions or keep a cool head. Overall, I rate the match positively, but it also showed us several things that we will have to focus on in the training process."
FC Spartak Trnava U12 – ŠK Slovan Bratislava U12 14:10 (10:4)
The most numerous goals was the match of the youngest students. They won the shootout by four goals, 14:10. Martin Marčiš scored a hat trick.
FCST U12: Hambálek, Krchnák – Poliak, Ličák, Repáň, Podolinčiak, Marčiš, Kollár, Poláček, Tančoková, Miklovič, Piešťanský, Kohutovič, Junas, Fojta, Strojný, Kukučka, Šmatlánek, Trebatický, Mikulec, Gál, Dvorský
Goals: 1. a 26. Dvorský, 1. Strojný, 7. a 47. Fojta, 15. a 22. Junas, 20. Šmatlánek, 24., 36. a 59. Marčiš, 25. Gál, 28. Poliak, 31. Miklovič
Filip Nádaský: "I'm glad that the boys and girls took the derby responsibly. It was a significantly better performance compared to the previous match in Trenčín. In the first half, I have to praise the collective performance, the elements that we carried over from the training process appeared in the match, there was determination, combativeness, and above all, we were effective in the end. However, in the second half, the efficiency of the finish dropped again, we threw away countless chances and gave away cheap goals to the opponent. However, I have to praise the team and I think we won deservedly."
