Spartak started a league match in Skalica after seven years. Čurma replaced the carded Miković on the left side of the defense and Boateng got the opportunity at the point.
It was the Ghanaian attacker who sent the first shot on goal, but his low attempt from the edge of the penalty area in the 4th minute did not mean any problems for Junas. After a quarter of an hour of play, Vlasko put Yao out, he fired from the turn, but not accurately. Externavčan Vlasko then found Haša with a nice cross in the penalty area, but he shot over the goal in an excellent position. In the first half, balanced football was played, especially in the middle of the field. Skalica defended carefully and pushed forward after breaks. In the 22nd minute, Bukata almost took the ball from Podhorin, who was the last, Yusuf got a shot, but he shot over. Boateng caught Čögley's little home in a short time, but he delayed for a long time and Blažek poked the ball with a clean slide. The lackluster half ended with Bukata's shot after a collision with Boateng, but he missed the far post from the corner of the penalty area.
The picture of the game did not change even at the beginning of the second half. The game had no rules, Smolák whistled every fight and often there was no play due to treatment. In the 57th minute, the Spartans played a free kick, they tried a signal, which Kóša was at the end of, but he sent the ball over the line from offside. Shortly after, the home team played a demonstration break when Hollý freed up Haša, who laid down Koša, found the running Yao, who hit the net from close range. It was only after the goal that the game sped up and Spartak at least optically pressed, but the home team fought all the more spiritedly. In the 76th minute, Daniel sent a ground pass from the right side to Štefánik, who took a first-time shot from inside the penalty area, but missed.
In the end, Skalica did not crown her honest performance in defense with a victory, because in the end, Bolaji sent a high ball into the penalty area, in front of Junas, Podhorin changed its direction so that it went behind his back. In the set time, Oseni could still decide, who was released by Ristovski, but Oseni missed the goal from the edge of the penalty area. In the last attack, Daniel then drove the ball across the field, which reached the free Ristovsko, but he delayed for a long time and threw the defender into the shot.
Juraj Jarábek (Skalica): "We knew that Trnava was in a slump, they scored seven goals in the last two matches. They are somewhere else in terms of quality of players and teamwork. The boys fulfilled to the letter everything we said before the match. At halftime I said let them wait for their chance. It was not a nice game in the first half, many interruptions, both opponents were waiting. The second half was better for the spectators. We scored a goal, but I won't praise the boys for those 20 minutes afterwards. We didn't want to play that deep in the block. Those guys who came have to fight harder for the lineup. Trnava would not score a goal until Christmas, but we made a mistake, it was such a juvenile goal. In the end, a well-deserved draw and I'm happy with the point."
Michal Gašparík (Trnava): "The beginning of the match and the entire first half was unremarkable from both sides, more fights and less football. Neither team prevailed. In the second half, we got into it more and, paradoxically, we got a goal when we were getting the match into the position where we wanted it. We lost the ball in the half, we didn't interrupt and we scored on the counterattack. Then it was about whether we could equalize or give another one. Skalica was tired, we scored at least one goal and in the end Risto could decide."
