The draw of the 4th round of the Slovnaft Cup decided that Spartak Trnava will face ŠK F Sereď. There is one game to be played, which should take place on the pitch in Seredi on October 26 at 2:30 p.m.
"I was pleased with the draw, because we don't have to travel anywhere. We are favorites for this match and I believe we will advance. It can be good for people too, it's close and our fans will come. I believe that it will be a cup match as it should be, there will be a good atmosphere and people will have fun," said coach Michal Gašparík after the draw.
Sereď played in the top competition last season, even in the top six for the title and finished fifth. However, due to non-fulfillment of license conditions, it was reclassified two competitions lower.
In head-to-head matches, even Sereď managed to defeat Spartak once in the superstructure. The interesting thing is that the Anton Malatinský Stadium was the home stand for both teams last year, so only now will they meet for the first time on the pitch directly in Seredi.
