Zlaté Moravce are a pleasant opponent for Spartak in the last matches, which was also confirmed yesterday. The last time he lost to him was three and a half years ago and he hasn't cashed in since the opening round of the spring part last year. Coincidentally, that was Michal Gašparík's very first match on the Trnava bench as head coach, and the red and black coach admitted that he remembered this moment before the match. "I was very nervous when I went through that tunnel for the first time. Then we won here 4:2, now maybe a slightly better result. I remembered that moment.'

Yesterday's match was also similar to the previous ones. Under Gašparík's leadership, Spartak did not lose against ViOn in the seventh match and managed the other six without conceding a goal. "We chose a 3-5-2 formation to be as strong as possible offensively. To my taste, there were some windows opening up for us defensively in the first half, even if Zlaté Moravce did not use them. It worked well for us offensively. Zlaté Moravce have a solid defense, they haven't scored many goals in the last few games and we were preparing to overcome it and we succeeded. In the second half, we switched to our classic 4-3-3, and paradoxically, we scored two more goals relatively early and easily."

The scoring was opened by Kyriakos Savvidis, who has already fulfilled his statistics from previous seasons – 3 goals and an assist. His goal was technically brilliant and showed that the Greek is not only an excellent defensive midfielder, but also an excellent player who makes full use of his footballing intelligence when finishing.

After his arrival, the Nigerian striker Abdulrahman Taiwo shows himself in a good light. He made his debut for a few minutes in Trenčín, jumped into the derby, and this time he was already a member of the starting line-up. Already in the cup match on Wednesday in Trenčianske Stankovce, he played from the start and scored a clean hat-trick. "I am very happy that I managed to score and I could contribute to the team's victory with my performance. It's a great feeling and I hope that we will continue to win. Today it is important that we got three points and we want to continue like this so that we can chase Slovan. This is possibly the best week of my career. I think it will help me get more motivated for matches. I have to thank all my teammates and coaches, who helped me a lot to adapt to the team as quickly as possible," the 24-year-old player beamed with happiness after the match.

His teammate Samuel Štefánik also had the same score - i.e. a goal and an assist, for whom it was the third goal. He prevailed against ViOn in the first match between them. "From the beginning, the course did not indicate that it would be such an unequivocal victory. For the first twenty minutes we fumbled and there was no great chance, but then we turned the game in our favor. It could have ended with a bigger difference, but we are happy with 3:0, and zero at the back is also good for us." said Spartak's most productive player at the moment with three goals and four assists.
