Finally, Michalovce took it

Spartak had a rocket start to the match and after half a minute Jakub Paur opened the score of the match with his first league goal in Trnava. Boateng kept the ball in front, Štefánik still kept the ball in the field, passed back in front of the goal and Paur no longer had a difficult task to send the ball into the open goal. In a short time, Perez was able to equalize, who found himself alone in front of Takač, but he shot very inaccurately on the bumpy and wet terrain. In the 7th minute, Daniel performed a nice individual action in the middle of the field, he relaxed until he took a shot, but Kožuchar's weak shot did not catch him.

Jakub Paur could have scored a second goal after the 25th minute, when Kožuchar sent a sharp cross right onto his boot, but Paur didn't get the ball and returned it to the goalkeeper. After that, nothing interesting happened for long minutes. It wasn't until the 40th minute that Mikovič crossed from the left side, Savvidis hit the crossbar with his head, Daniel sent the deflected ball to the goalkeeper and Štetina ended the action with a cannonball, but Kožuchar knocked it away.

Both coaches alternated before the second half. Gašparík changed the forwards and Hrnčár immediately a couple of players in an attempt to play more offensively. Ristovski pressed in front of the goalkeeper right after the pass, but was blocked by a pair of defenders in a good position. In the 54th minute, home team Adler got into a good shooting position, but Takač shot his shot from the edge of the penalty area into the corner. After him, Petrík got to the shot, but the defense blocked his attempt.

At the time when the home team began to press more in front of Spartak's penalty area, Štefánik made a good attack on the stopper, who gave Kožuchar a hard pass, Štefánik was at the ball earlier, bypassed the goalkeeper and scored into an empty net. Ten minutes later, Yusuf looked for Azevedo after a break, the defense kicked to a corner, after which they switched roles. Azevedo centered the ball on the head of Yusuf, who made it 3-0. The exhausted home team could no longer stop Spartak's attacks. A long kick on the border of the offside line was processed by Yusuf, he held the ball, passed it to the running Ristovska, who broke the shooting bad luck - 0:4. In the 90th minute, Savvidis could have put a nice point on the match when Štefánik skilfully pushed the ball behind the defensive line, but Savvidis was a little short of getting to the ball earlier.

After that, I was worried that it wouldn't be the old, well-worn song that we have chances, we don't convert them and the opponent punishes it. In the second half, thank God, we made it 2:0 after an opponent's mistake and broke the game in our favor. You don't often win like this in Michalovce, and we appreciate it very much. I appreciate the approach of the guys, because we only had two days for regeneration, of which we traveled from Poland for over eight hours on that one day. From the first minute I felt that we weren't quite optimal in terms of movement, but today we were a bit more efficient in the second half. And that ultimately decided, quality and converting chances."
